Oops, Wrong Number
The telephone number listed a few days ago included a typo. The main number to the Springfield office of the governor is 217-782-6830. I had two of the numbers in the prefix switched. The governor's mailing address is Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Illinois State Capitol Room 207, Springfield IL 62706-1150.
New Resolution
Since our deadline of the Eighth of August (Emancipation Day) has passed. I've updated the generic resolution that interested parties can take to your local governments for their endorsement.
